1. Overview
By accessing or using lumierejewellers.com you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order or submitting a consultation. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Lumière Jewellers operates as an online bespoke jewellery studio, creating entirely custom, made-to-order engagement rings and fine jewellery for clients worldwide.
2. Our service
All rings created by Lumière Jewellers are made entirely to order. We do not hold stock. Every piece is designed and crafted specifically for the individual client following a consultation process. By submitting a consultation form you are not placing an order — you are beginning a design conversation with no obligation.
3. Orders & deposits
A binding order is created when both parties have agreed on a final design and the client has paid a deposit. At this point production begins and the following terms apply:
- A 50% deposit is required to begin production
- The remaining balance is due before your ring is dispatched
- Once production has begun the deposit is non-refundable
- Cancellations before design approval will receive a full refund of any deposit paid
- Cancellations after design approval but before production begins will receive a 50% refund of the deposit
4. Pricing & payment
All prices are quoted in USD. Prices are provided during the consultation process and confirmed in writing before any deposit is taken. We accept major credit and debit cards and PayPal. Lumière Jewellers reserves the right to adjust pricing prior to a deposit being taken. Once a deposit is paid the price is fixed.
5. Delivery
We ship internationally via tracked and insured courier. Delivery timeframes vary by region and are estimates only — they are not guaranteed. Lumière Jewellers is not responsible for delays caused by customs, courier services or circumstances beyond our control. Import duties and taxes applicable in your country are the responsibility of the recipient.
6. Returns & resizing
Please refer to our full Returns Policy at lumierejewellers.com/pages/returns for complete details. In summary:
- We offer a complimentary first resize within 60 days of delivery
- Return postage for resizing is the customer's responsibility
- Custom made-to-order rings cannot be refunded once production has begun
- Manufacturing defects are covered by our lifetime guarantee
7. Intellectual property
All content on lumierejewellers.com including designs, images, text and branding is the property of Lumière Jewellers and may not be reproduced, copied or used without written permission.
8. Accuracy of information
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms of Service at any time. It is your responsibility to check these terms periodically. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumière Jewellers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or products. Our liability is limited to the value of the order placed.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
